One thing I learned quite early on when taking blog photos is that a shaded location works much much better than a sunny one. It was a rule I lived by: shaded photos only! However, after having read Alexandra from To Vogue Or Bust's Basic Photography guide, I was getting an itch to try something different with my photos. My sister and I decided to try to use the sun as a backlight, and it turned out pretty interesting!
As much as there's snow in the background of my pictures, snow has actually been melting this weekend! The weather had been mild, the birds are chirping, and I couldn't be happier. It's still not warm enough to not wear tights, but we're getting there!
